What is Kids Wellness Yoga?

Kids Wellness Yoga delivers trauma-informed programming that incorporates the principles and philosophy of therapeutic play and mindfulness. Children and youth will have the opportunity to engage in:

  • Storytelling
  • Breathwork
  • Yoga flow
  • Games and activities
  • Songs and movement
  • Meditation and relaxation

Students will learn strategies and create tools that they can take home and practice daily to help improve mood and focus, promote self-regulation, increase self-esteem, self-confidence, self-love, and connection.

Each series of classes focuses on specific wellness themes that invite children and youth to be curious, be present, be aware, and be themselves.

Kids Wellness Yoga is inclusive to everybody and every body – regardless of experience, ability or diverse needs.

Our classes focus around specific wellness themes, but classes can also be tailored to individual and group needs and interests.
